950 950s Strange At Low Revs...

  1. Ok, so what's happening here with my 950S -
"The engine is "hunting" badly a low revs (2000 - 3000) in the lower gears making it difficult to control , lunging badly in 1st / 2nd in traffic and it has a strange tickover with the revs surging rhythmically at standstill. "
Runs ok once you get into the higher revs - +3000 and in the higher gears
    Anyone any ideas...

  2. I don't know but I'd suspect the throttles need syncing. I think there are stepper motors on the butterflys and if they are out of sync they could give the effect you have.

  3. I hope not Coman, just had new throttle bodies fitted a couple of weeks ago.....

  4. How come you had to have new throttle bodies fitted? Has it been like this since the throttle bodies were fitted or was it like this before?

  5. Well, back to Ducati Glasgow for the third time............ today, 13;00..

  6. I would now be thinking along the lines of rejecting the bike, not fit for purpose.

  7. Ally, my thoughts exactly , actually, they found a pressure sensor pipe was "nicked" and they repaired it. They are saying it's all ok now....

  8. Well hopefully they have got it fully sorted .
Enjoy what is left of the good weather / riding conditions .
