Nitron/ohlins Shock Or Similar To Fit A 900sl/ss

  1. Does anyone have one of the above for sale in good condition before I go and buy a new one? Anything with both compression and rebound adjustment would be good.

Since the bottom bearing needs replacing on my 900SL Showa I might as well treat it to something nice if I can.

    Cheers,

  2. Cheap route to a better shock/handling is to find a good condition 2nd hand SSIE, they're slightly longer and improve the standard Carbie's handling.

  3. Thanks Steve, I've seen that and it's Plan B. As most aftermarket shocks have a ride height adjuster that's my first choice if I can. :):upyeah:

  4. My brother in law is a nitron dealer if that helps

  5. I'll bear that in mind if I go for a new one, thanks! :):upyeah:

  6. The guy who owns/runs Nitron used to be the chief UK Technician for White Power Suspension, OEM equipment for KTM's.
He knows what he's doing with suspension.

  7. Out of interest could you ask him what a shock for an ss would cost?

  8. I have a pair of posh Nitrons on my Z1000. They're excellent. :):upyeah:
