As the title says. I need help and advice in what to buy next after my monster was stolen. 2012 Evo sp. SC project exhaust, no air box, k&n filter, 7k on the clock. Well looked after. 2013 SP Remus exhaust, light weight flywheel, quick release sprocket carrier. 14k on the clock. Well Well looked after. Both available for a similar price. The bike will be used mainly for leasure and the odd commuting trip here and there. No track. No other mods will be done to the bike unless needed. If you could choose, which one would you pick? Thank you all in advance
A Multistrada...950 for what you describe. Ok I know thats not the answer you wanted.. Neither of the above - 1 missing the air box - second too much mileage for me and the lightened flywheel.. indicationg someone wanted it high reving..
Without a doubt 2012 Evo SP The latest model with air-cooled engine. Tourque monster Have a 2011 myself and I just love that Ducati. Should I consider replacing it, which is not so likely, it would have been in favor of a 950 SP, and no one else
It is actually. I think that the 1100 might be a bit too much at first. Perhaps in the future. Having said that, it was an outstanding bike by what I could see and I was told.
Thinking of getting one of these as a commuter. looking for light and flickable. Bit confused with all the different specs over the years. I'n drawn to the air cooled 1100 as I have a carby 900ss. Just wondered if it is a bit agricultural down at slow speeds? Which would you buy??
The 1100 all day. Should be smoother than a cashmere codpiece after a trip to a decent tuner (e.g. Chris at Louigi’s).
I am finding myself incredibly happy with the 821 SP. THE hypermotard itself is an absolute bonkers bike. Very happy i got one. .not sure how the 1100 would be but I'm sure it would be as fun as any other hyper for sure.
What a bike. I am having an absolute blast with it every day. Really pleased I got it and didn't get another monster instead.
first couple of hundred miles on the 796 now - enjoy it, but there can be some improvement! The first thing is to change the gearing. It is ridiculously high geared. I guess it is something to do with emissions and the tiny fuel tank. I'm fitting a 14 front sprocket and possibly a 43 tooth rear. Also investigating a booster plug. After that it might be a suspension upgrade. Not sure yet - has anyone swapped a 1100s triple tree onto a 796?
