(I now have both side fairings top and bottom and the nose fairing. Still looking for rear mono seat unit) I'm on the look out for a set of original fairings for my 02 998s. I need the upper nose cowl and both the left and right side fairings. I already have tank, belly pan and rear seat unit. I'm not looking for anything damaged/repaired. It would good if i could find a set in good condition red fairings but if they need painted to colour change them thats not an issue.
Hi Andy, The original Bayliss Rep 2002 right hand panel is £200, and the standard red left hand panel is £125
If you don’t buy everything at once,from one bike. Take a good look at them then if they don’t different in color then. Some may be faded at bit more or had a respray. Henk!!!
Its red paint so it won't match but I've got that covered. My dad has his own bodyshop. So painting the panels won't be an issue!

Hi Andy. Might be cheaper and quicker to buy a half decent seat unit and getting it painted. I paid about £75 for the mono seat and about £250 for the paint job. The stickers are still available from Ducati and cheap as chips.
I had thought that. I painted the number boards on my track bike myself. They came out ok for a track bike: Are the pinstripes stickers or paint. I already have a set of the correct silver "Ducati superbike" stickers that I was going to fire on the carbon seat unit I have.
I have the mono seat unit. Pinstripe is gold however although you mention you have access to a paintshop!
Thanks for the offer JoeC. If I end up going down the route of painting one I will probably end up buying a secondhand one. I don't think I could bring myself to paint over a seat unit that's in as good of condition as yours.
Seeing the second hand market, it makes sense to buy it new mate. Think if you buy it new it only comes in complete red.....
I tried to buy new 2 years ago and they were no longer available from stock despite being advertised for purchase. Star twin in Holland searched high and low for me but no joy
