Due to COVID related work shortages at the moment im looking into the possibility of selling my dream bike. I’ve had the V2 for around 6 months (69 plate) and put 2500 track free miles (so far) on her. Completely stock except BikeTrac, Evotech tail tidy and Evotech upper and lower rad guards. A really really hesitant sale - the bike is epic. More images / details etc can be provided. Looking for around £13kovno
Thanks Carr, Bumping it up - if it goes before the New Year ill take £12,500 - the cheapest V2 in the country
Some pictures of just how stunning a bike this is. Sadly still available and still needing to find a new home due to Covid Bike however is Covid free (Owner cannot actually guarantee that bike is free from covid at time of purchase)
Tough times selling bikes, GLWS. The V2 would be “my Pani” if was in the market. No V4 powerhouse for me...
It is indeed. On the hottest day of the summer. Think it was like 40C. Wanted to jump into the harbour so badly!
It’s fantastic. Especially for majority road with some track. Easily holds its own against the V4 and sounds so good too.
Unfortunately dealers are selling lower mileage V2,s for £13k listed with a good a deal to be had . Ducati sales were really good last year but the V2 hasnt really sold well. Changing times.
really? I really want one, well that or a 1299, I haven't really made my mind up, but a used 1299s with okra and a new V2 are about the same money; in the end it'll be a heart decision anyway - just waiting 6-12 months to build up a cushion and also thinking about a house move before pulling the trigger. Time of year, covid etc - think it's just a tough time to be selling. if my personal position was different i'd bite your hand off looks lovely
A couple of local dealers thought they would have sold a few more than they have. A few new ones in the stockroom. Saying that 959 sales were dwindling in its last year. At present i dont see the point of buying anything if its going to be sat in the garage for the next 3 months.
Now the price debate has started I can say I was offered a brand new V2 for less than £14k in August by my dealer. If you do really need to sell my opinion would be to get super aggressive on price, say £11995. Then no offers. At 12.5 that’s where you will probably end up anyway. Regardless, GLWS. It’s a shit storm that is wrecking peoples lives and livelihoods.
Sadly the winter is never a good time to sell a bike but if your a buyer in the winter it’s a great time to strike a good deal for yourself and usually save yourself a lot of cash in the deal. Plus having it parked in the garage for the few months waiting for the sun to come out gives you the chance to spend the money saved on the winter deal buying the upgrades you desire. But at the the same time it’s never nice being forced to sell because of this awful situation at the moment, so best of luck for the seller in this post.
