Anyone need any additional components for the original Sonos 1 ?? Always refused to upgrade to the new Sonos system of Sonos 2 speakers, after they stopped supporting the original system with software updates - despite it still working just fine. However, just got myself a new Sonos soundbar which is not compatible with the original app, so I’ve kinda been forced into the new system 2. Anyway I digress..... If anyone got the Sonos 1 set up, and want to add a couple of components in other rooms to add to their existing system, then I’ve a few bits herewith...which I now find surplus to requirements ! 1. Sonos connect amp. (ZP120) you just need to plug this in and connect a pair of speakers to this piece. £100 inc postage. (speakers not included) 2. Sonos zone player. (ZP90) Got 2 of these. These need to be connected to an amp and a power supply. (The amp will be connected to a pair of speakers rather than this actual unit.) How about £45 each to inc postage. 3. Sonos bridge. Basically this extends the wireless range of your Sonos system / home network. £30 inc postage. All of the components are in great condition and working order. I’ve only included a photo of one of the ZP90’s just for convenience, but all the bits basically look the same.... the ZP120 is just a bit bigger that’s all.
Hi As I know nothing about these, can I connect a ZP90 in the room with the amp and get this to twin with a speaker in another room? Also do they connect through wi-fi Cheers Mart
