First Ducati: 996r

  1. Thanks for the warm welcome!

    I will get some more photos of the bike in a couple of weeks when I have had a chance to clean it up.

    Would have been happy with any 916 derivative - they're all gorgeous bikes.

    Love that number plate mentalist! Mine's on a standard 51. It's a UK bike from new.

    Couldn't afford a Foggy Rep back in the day so had to settle for one of those 50cc Malaguti Phantom pit bikes. :laughing: Sold that a few years later when I needed the cash.

  9. It's a Lapwing bought at the Bonhams sale a few weeks ago. It did the 1933 SSDT and I'm pretty sure that year's ISDT as well. Still got the original logbook. Waited all year for a nice bike and then two came along with a couple of weeks of each other.

  14. Wow you lucky fella:upyeah:,i missed out back in 2014 on one and everytime i google Foggy images there it's which is frustrating for me,but hey ho that's life i guess.
