How about a forum ride-out to meet up there, do the zip line, after which we can all got to the pub, have few drinks and lighthearted political discussion followed by a punch up? Joking aside, I’m not a great fan of heights bit that looks awesome and I’d love to do it.
I’ve done the coaster in the alps, and a long zip line in the south of France. Also did canyoning in the south of France. And I’d definitely recommend that
Jeez the guy in the first video sounds as if he'd sh*t himself at the slightest provocation. Somewhat melodramatic commentary. It looks slower than it proably feels I imagine but even so, get a grip man!
Was going to go last October, it was closed due to local restrictions at the time. They had a special offer £99 each on the zip line. The roads around there was worth the trip.
£99 bloody hell !! After lockdown I’ll string some washing line across to the neighbouring house and charge people £50 if it helps. I’ll even throw in a nice warm cuppa once and of course if you make it across. As they always say make your bookings now as limited spaces available.
Self and ex gf did the Zip line in the 2nd video. Expensive for what it is and not as fast as they claim. When the ground drops away just before crossing the water is probably the most exciting/impressive bit. That and the white 1260 Mutley in the car park, I'd only just ordered mine and we had a good chat with the owner and his partner. We did the series of lines at their other site the following day and I would say that was a better experience and not over so quickly.
Did one of those kart track things years ago in Normandy. Was home built by a local farmer on a hill. Health and safety was not a premium consideration...it was mega! My young son loved it but wanted to know what the sign “ralentir” meant just before the sharp bend!
We did the forest coaster last year. We thought it was great. My 3.5 year old son loved it. I'm not sure as bike rider it will deliver the thrills you are used too, but as a family trip it was brilliant. It is possible to catch the car in front of you up. It then brakes automatically to stop you getting to close. To avoid this hang around for an extra 10 secs or so at the top before going down the course. They don't tell you this so I wasted my first go stuck behind someone. You get 3 runs, queues are not bad. There are some other activities on the same site if you wanted to make more of a day of it. My youngest daughter did the zip wire and she’s a girl, piece of piss according to her, although not her words as she’s nice and polite!
Yep done it. did it a few days before a race meet at Anglesey and en route. really worthwhile trip in my opinion. The underground bounce thing is epic as well!
Thanks for the feedback. a group rideout would be a laugh and brings a bit more to the day, if the zip is a bit of a letdown. £99 though was not expecting that much. Was expecting about £35. Not like they have to power it up or anything
