Anyone know of a good 1198 available privately. Nothing against dealers, but I'd like to speak to the guy that's owned the bike for a few years, to get a better idea of how it's been used/maintained. Quite fancy a Corse, but not sure the paint job and alloy tank add up to £5k more than an 'S'.
I have an immaculate 1198 with under 3000 miles on the clock I’m the second owner and have hardly ridden it as I prefer my Kawasaki zzr I’ve owned it for over a year now and in that time I’ve put new full 70mm termignoni full system on it with termignoni slash cut rear cans I also had all downpipes mirror polished then I got it remapped last year to suit the pipes at the same time I had the belts replaced and serviced on the dyno this was at bsd performance in Peterborough Ducati specialist it’s now putting out a healthy 175 bhp and super smooth linear power delivery throughout the rev range othe upgrades include carbon front mudguard and side panels new heavy duty battery tail tidy I brought it as an investment but me being me spent a load of money on it and it just sits there it’s cleaner then a new bike lol the price I want is £8500 I’m in no rush to sell any questions pm or txt 07850541773

I have an 1198 se corse which has a very extensive spec including spare full genuine se corse fairings, full 70mm system, ttx rear shock, ohlins 30mm fork internals, dp carbon key guard, side fairings around the tank and seat and swingarm, jhp rearsets, quick shifter, ducati performance slipper clutch and riders seat, rizzoma keyless fuel cap, evotech levers plus lots of other nice touches and original parts too. Only 6200 miles but I’d want £19k for it or £17k as standard.
Does your 98R have a full set of original fairings and the rest of the spec my SE has. The last SE I saw sold for £18k.

It's not for sale and if it was it would be the wrong colour, price, shape, mileage, day of the week etc. etc.
have you a link to an SE at that money? Got to be a fake sale, 1098r's aren't really shifting at that.
