Interesting test that I’d still never use washing up liquid. From what I saw they didn’t cover its effects on waxes and sealants etc. It seems to strip absolutely everything !
I'll watch it at some point, hopeful that MucOff isn't on the bad list, I do water mine down a bit though as I never need it as a powerful cleaner, just use it as an initial de-greaser and to loosen bugs without scrubbing, then I wash with a decent car shampoo normally, then if I'm feeling really time flush I'll put a layer of Autoglym acrylic polish on the bike and let it harden and then buff it to a shine (I learnt early on that this is the way to get results from it).
I like his grom. Surfex HD I used to spray all over the unpainted parts of bike. I switched to using muc off mo94 on a rag instead after washing with regular car shampoo.
Hmmmm sceptical on some of this test. For me, it reinforces that deep safe cleaning requires multiple stages. After any decon stage whether that be with degreasers/fallout removers etc or stronger products, I'll always snow foam the bike again followed by a thorough rinse. I use a sidekick for drying and it's great for a contactless dry and removing any trapped water. I genuinely winced when I saw him take that brush to his paintwork having now experienced how soft Ducati clear coat is
