Hi all. I've been asked by a tuning friend to find out any tips for tying down the 200plus pannigales on a dyno because of the single sided swing arm . The bike he's working on is a shiny framed Spondon turbo which has stupid BHP . The trouble is the s/s swing arm any thoughts?
I am so confused and excited by this post at the same time. Usually on a dyno, the front wheel goes in a chock. The rear end isn't really strapped down away from say the pillion pegs/subframe/pegs/seat etc. If that's what he's asking. Can't see it being an issue providing he straps it down equally.
The guy who owns this beast doesn't want any straps around the frame etc. It's putting out 500hp. My mate used to own a dyno place( DSD) he mainly tunes drag bikes but nothing with s/swing arm
Just double wrap the straps (fabric part) around the foot pegs, then ratched down. This way the hooks won't scratch the foot pegs. Same thing can be done around the subframe.
