I have now checket it on the other way, from wheel aksel to yoke.. and it was 408,5 like manual.. so that all good
Mmmmm, preload does look a little light.Certainly would be for me on a standard spring.Perhaps Im a bit lardy.
With that preload I have 30 mm staic sag and 40mm rider sag... I just went on a 70 km run .. with hard driving and braking, and I still have about 40 mm travel left to the bottom

I think their guideline is for a 916 with öhlins dampers.... because they count in clicks instead of turns. My 916 is with Showa :-(
Iam actuly think its very close now ;-) I made the rear a little softer 0,5 turn on both... from stock. And I ( as mentioned) loosen my preload to get more sag, and more travel.... after driving I gave 2 more clicks on compression on front ( softer )... Only thing is... when i am lying fx in a long corner I feel a little jumping/bouncing on my front wheel. I personaly blame it on my fronttyre.. which I change next week
