After getting back the other day after quick ride out, I noticed a few dark streaks on the front wheel rim. Closer inspection confirmed it was fork oil. Sure enough it looks like the seals have gone. Rather than faff around myself I have decided to get them serviced so off they came One option for me is Kais over in Manchester. Does anyone know of any Ohlins specialists in Yorkishire?
https://www.ohlins.eu/en/products/motorcycle/dealer/united-kingdom/?f=Dealer|Servicecenter Barnsley is in W.Yorks.
Kais are good, but tbh, you don’t need an Ohlins specialist. The forks are a straight forward service. Reactive suspension near York are very good
i took my forks to reactive. A top man with a great set-up. He teaches classes on the black art (when allowed).
Another Reactive recommendation.Set up my Multistrada spot on.Had just returned from Sweden having been employed at a Ducati Club Track weekend. Lots of BSB experience also.
Firefox Racing is oooop north your way. Just serviced my Panzer rear ESA. But think they do all types of stuff. Quick turnaround too.
I've used these guys before. Based in Lincoln. https://m.facebook.com/pg/JWR-Suspension-353604081332641/about/?ref=page_internal&mt_nav=0
Thanks. Has anyone had any experience with Mick Gardner Racing in Barnsley? Just had a chat with them, price is on par with Reactive, and only 30 mins down M1 for me.
Reactive - good bloke & knows his stuff. If you don't mind posting then Colin - 100% suspension - real good bloke and quick turn around.
For anyone interested, I ended up at Mick Gardner Racing in Barnsley. About a 10 day turn around which was acceptable. They didn't do the bushes, checked and confirmed they were OK. Picked the forks up yesterday, bike rebuilt and a nice day today for a shakedown
