hi every one, i took my v4s out yesterday 1060mile OC, it was ok for the 1st 30 miles then it started revving low on idle, stalling on traffic lights and when i shut the throttle. i checked the oil level and the tank is almost full.. the engine didn't show High temps either it was relatively cool and i stopped 5 times to cool it down just in case but that didn't seem to fix the issue,, anyone come across this before?? Best
Could be an air leak between the throttle bodies and cylinder head.. Had a similar issue on my 1200 monster. Get a piece of tube and have a listen around the inlet pipes.
Hi, thank you for coming back to me.. i really don't think its an air leak,, the issue seems to come and go, i took it for a test ride today i didn't get the same issue but am experiencing loss of power and the bike feels and sound different.. its been 8 months since i last rode the bike so i thought its me at first but now am convinced something is not right,,
To be honest i didnt think about that,, never had bad fuel before,, when i run it first it had very little in the tank i filled it up used it than filled it up again,, the bike was kept in a good environment and only filled in with super unladed,, i am going to run it again tomorrow,, and see what happens, thank you for your input
