It’s bollox mate. Less people play tennis that darts in U.K. ffs!! It’s hardly mainstream other than once a year ‘go Tim!’ been trying to avoid Facebook all day coz some knobheads will put up results within a nanosecond of a chequered flag then blame anyone for coming across it by accident
I'm not an avid fan of televised bike racing, and admit WSBK is down my list of preferred entertainment. I expect more people watch the French Open than WSBK. I doubt less than 1 in 100 people in the UK could even name a rider. Irritating to fans, especially if the schedule changes admittedly.
Even worse I doubt they’d differentiate between WSBK and MotoGP.... I’m afraid that Motorcycle sport is pretty niche, not many who profess to be fans seem prepared to buy a subscription given how many seem to want to bypass paying to watch. If the last approx viewing figures are to be believed.
Agree it was pretty poor, recorded day 2 highlights and avoided all media, waited till mrs Bimble retired and then subjected to tennis on mud. Set the recorder up to record next highlight transmission hoping Eurosport get their act together, and watched an episode of The Likely Lads where England are playing footy....just like deja-vu all over again!
I think £6.00 a month for Eurosport - WSBK & BSB live coverage is pretty good. Really easy to cancel once the racing season is over. This weekend was great with WSBK on Eurosport & MotoGP viewed via 'other' means...
