1260 Chain Guard Options

  1. Finally got round to removing the horrible rear hugger on the multi today. Are there any decent looking options out there for a chain guard to stop chain lube spraying the tyre ?

  2. Horrible it may be but the first time you ride on a muddy road you’ll see that it has a purpose other than providing a mounting for the number plate. Andy

  6. Nice chain & very clean also. :upyeah:
You may want to remove that left-side plastic hose cover. It has been known to retain moisture and cause corrosion thereunder.
FYI, North-American bikes don't have it. Must have been a Euro noise suppression thing.

  7. The foam is now landfill! After Ducati replaced the corroded components underneath it.

The engineer at Ducati responsible for that particular ‘solution’ should be dragged out of his house and shot in front of his family.

Possibly a little strong, but you know what I mean!

  8. I cut the rear end off, plastic filled the two holes, rubbed it down flat then hydro dipped it.

Got a new one from eBay when I sold the bike. 03CC9AD3-40D9-4A0E-ADF7-7BB7A2E1B0E8.jpeg
