What's the deal with baseball caps, for I am an unfashionable, getting older, git? I don't now (coz they are crap) but I have watched YouTube videos "road-testing" bikes (that's a laugh, unless you want to hear the idiot's view!) meaning the the "tester" (read idiot) has been out on the bike and wearing a crash helmet (I assume, or maybe they think that they are so cool that a crash helmet will spoil their "look") but they stop in a lay-by to do a piece to camera and the crash helmet is replaced immediately by a baseball cap. I don't get it - not that I care..... Maybe they are all pro baseball players, really. Anyway such a relief that I've chosen what I am getting and no longer need to endure this sheet.
I’ve taken to wearing one lately. Mainly due to some well dodgy DIY haircuts... when the damage has grown out they go back in draw.
I wear one to protect me from the sun as I am a skin cancer sufferer. Wish I had worn one years ago when I was young.
Spent a few summers in southern California years ago, so got used to wearing them. That and bright sunlight is a migraine trigger for me.
