V2 Front Exhaust Bracket

  1. For the Panigales with underslung exhausts…

Might be worth checking the front exhaust hanger.

Mine has a crack in it.

    V2 with 5800 miles.

  2. This with Akras? Someone told me about the pipe under the seat cracking, but this is a new one or at least not seen it reported by anyone.

  3. Warranty claim then surely.

  4. yes.
    But….
I bought the bike at dealer 1.
    600mile service at dealer 2.
12month service at dealer 1, where the problem was found.

    Dealer 1 blames dealer 2.

I cba arguing. The part was £20ish, so I ordered it and fitted it myself.

  5. Yes Akra, but the bracket is the same as stock V2 cans.

  6. I'll check, thanks. Also, unless dealer 2 like to do loads of extra work for no reason on a 600 mile service, I don't know how dealer 1 can't really say that. Ah well, sorted now.

  7. I agree 100%, it wasn’t worth the effort nor the weeks of waiting for a workshop slot…ordered the part on Sunday…arrived yesterday…fitted today.

  8. Don’t some garages just jack up rear of bike using the underslung exhaust as lifting point? Taking lower fairing off first, obvs.
This could stress the bracket I think.
