Morning Just a quick hello, just bought a lovely clean original 1996 600 SS and after a 30 year absence from motorcycles (last bike I rode was an RD 250 on L plates!) I am just in the process of finishing off my direct access, so if all goes to plan should be able to get back in the saddle on the 28th June! I have been active forum member in the past on Porsche and BMW forums so looking forward to contributing and gaining some much needed knowledge and expertise (I have a lot of catching up to do!)
Hi There's a few of us (Ducati riders) from round the Oxford area meet up at H Cafe (on the Berinsfield roundabout) frequently - official Bike Night is Monday, throughout BST, so if you drop by come over and say hello if you see us there
Module One passed this morning, Mod 2 to do next Thursday then freedom! Thanks for the invite SC, it's one of my planned rides.
That wasn't you I passed on the A34 around Didcot this morning then, 600SS going south as I headed North
Hi there. I am in the Warwick area and once a month usually head around the Cotswolds, not far from your neck of the woods, so hopefully we can meet at sometime.
When you get on the SS just a heads up there is little turning circle after coming from a learning bike Took me by surprise after the ER500 and couldn't do right turns as the lock is pants.... Though that maybe me :-D
Mod 2 passed today. Managed to get back and have a maiden ride on my 600SS. Thanks for the advice DUCBird, a bit different to the SV650 we have been riding all day! Going to get as many evening rideouts as I can now, just need some nice sunny evenings
Welcome. I've been a member for a month and it's a fabulous forum with incredibly helpful and knowledgeable members. Enjoy your beautiful Ducati!
Hi That'd be great! I'm in Bretforton so only 20 mins away so if you're planning a meet I'd be really pleased to join you (once I've reassembled my bike! ) Rich
Quite often do the Cotswold loop starting at Stow, via Burford, Chipping Norton, Shipston on Stour, to Stratford then back via Long Marsden, Broadway, up Fish Hill then back to Stow. Duke
