Seem to be bleeding out the clutch master cylinder alot lately. Nearly every other ride it needs doing. It only takes a few pumps and I'm good to go again but it's starting to get annoying. When doing some research before I bought the bike I seem to remember this came up alot. Has anyone else suffered from this? How and what would be the best way to cure this?
Normally after a winter lay off I had nothing there at all so a full bleed out was required but lately its getting more and more frequent. Really tempted with new brembo m/c. Not cheap though.
You can buy a refurb kit for the clutch, new piston and seals and an easy DIY job. You might also look at the clutch slave cylinder. It’s a know weakness and all my Ducatis prior to the V4 have eventually been fitted with an Oberon. Andy
Got ducabike clutch master cylinder works a treat lots of good things about Oberon worth a change even if nothing is wrong
