Diavel Diavel 1260, Do You Have An After Market Screen?

  1. Genuine question, since swapping to my Diavel from the multi I haven't felt the need to have a screen, I get no buffeting or wind noise, yes there's a bit of pressure but I haven't felt like I needed a screen. I did swap my helmet from a chaser x to a Arai Renegade which are designed for naked bikes but even before that its always been a clean pocket of air. Do you have a sat nav mounted? this is always a subjective topic depended on rider height, helmet type and so on, but less is more on the windscreen front for me, the sport screen looks well though just not sure of the benefit?

  2. I've got a Shoei Neotec 2, there is quite a bit of wind noise. Feel like I'm getting a lot of wind preassue directly on the front my my helmet at higher speeds, can feel my helmet pushing against my face. Hoping the screen will deflect some of it. Not sure I like the look of it yet though, see when it arrives tomorrow. I've also got a Schuberth C3 Pro, going to try a ride out with that tomorrow.

  3. Thought I'd update this thread. I bought the sport Puig screen but sent it back, looked a bit pants on the bike. Just looked like an odd bolt on job.

I've ended up buying the genuine Ducati Touring Screen for the Diavel. Makes a massive differance at warp speeds. Best £180.00 that I've spent on an accessory. At least the power is loads more usuable, I used to struggle to hold before.

  5. Im in this dilema, i feel I need a screen but don't want a big thing!, ducati has only one screen for the 1260s. Do you have a picture of yours? glad to hear it made a difference .
