Hi all I used to have a Diavel and they had a specific GPS plug under the screen area which I just used for switched power and earth and so was a simple job - does this same connection exist on a SFV4 ? I'd like to use a usb on the bike , I currently have a optimate lead which I use for charging but don't really want to use this method as it's not switched power but I also understand as mine is a 2021 model a charge port via the diagnostic lead under the seat which again is not switched Someone who has a Streetfighter or panigale V4 must have a idea what to do without damaging the wiring of the bike
Hi I fitted the Healtech thunder box to my SFV4S. Connects straight to the battery and is a switched supply for multiple devices. You also need to buy the healtech USB module which connects to the thunder box. I managed to fit both in the battery compartment and run the usb wire forward then cable tied to the handle bar. Nice easy solution I think.
Hi mate yeah I’m in Cardiff this weekend watching the rugby but when I’m back I will take some pictures. Not a lot to see though two little black boxes that are hidden in the cavity’s in the battery compartment. I also added a little foam to stop them moving around.
Ok cool - I've had a look on Google and it seems great however I'd like to know where you've wired the white wire for ignition switch live - this could solve my issues as I've also got a biketrac I need to cater for
Can you just use the usb module as it looks like it connects straight to the battery so must have battery saving technology in there ?
Thumbs up from me for the Healtech. Ensures all additional loads are off the battery until the engine starts and the alternator is generating power. Seems to work well.
Spoke to head technician at my local dealer and he said just pull off the accessories fuse in the fuse box then no cutting of wires so I'm doing that
