Went to the NEC show this morning (didn't take me long to wander around) then as it was only 15mins away I popped into Ducati Coventry to talk to the sales staff about the new V2s. I noticed there were 6 or seven names written on the white board behind the sales desk of new orders/owners of the V4 PP. Going to be a busy time when that lot land with a lot of happy owners !!
That's true when cash is in your bank account. Not so much when you buy a vehicle and where the dealers make a handsome commission for selling credit. Tip to the wise: don't mention a cash offer while negotiating price. Lock-in the OTD sales price first, then pay in cash.
One expensive piece of gaffer tape ….. oh well I got conned .. got a super engine and chassis as a consolation for my mistake , and a single sided swing arm ( again ripped off as my old one had a twin ), and smaller wheels .. I will never learn
This is going to be fun. As a side note, I wonder why they’ve stopped putting those little rubber plugs over the mirror bolts….
Good point! I guess so they can fill up with water after you have washed it, or parked up in the rain!
Me too - yet to find a use for it -The only phone that fits is a "Burner" phone with a stash of Class A in the bottom (dont ask)
Looks like a good place to keep my visor cleaner, small cloth, helmet lock and small portable battery pack to charge the phone on the go.
Been to the NEC this morning. Bits on the PP I want on my V4S- the screen, the slightly narrower bars which are both easy to do. Some nice carbon bits too. I still think the paint scheme is crap- three different shades of red, the white number board and the black paint don’t do it for me. And the swingarm is huge. it’s a lovely bike but I am more than happy with mine.
Even though the PP is not for you it’s good to see there’s a few bits that will work on your V4S. The paint scheme actually appeals to me and it would be a dull place for sure if we all thought the same. As for the huge swing arm……..it’s only on one side and that really works for me lol.
