I’ve just signed up a year on this and my first impression is the blokes a bit of an idiot. I’ve watched 3 vids of him setting up V4’s and it’s laughable. He’s nicely scratching brand new preload adjusters with a shitty adjustable spanner which is doing my head in! Then on one he set up the fixed settings on the dash but then leaving the mode in dynamic, bloke comes back in saying it’s still soft so he’s just maxed preload, compression and rebound on the front and says he needs new oil and front springs. In another clip he spends minutes going in and out of the menus because he can’t find the DES menu, which is fine but I don’t get why he has left that in the video and not edited his bumbling out, looks very amateur. He must know the theory behind it but for me it’s tough viewing and I feel ripped off as I’m not sure I can stomach watching him anymore.
I made the same mistake too and I watched a few of his vids. I'm sure he knows his stuff but just the way he talks to people did my head in.
I looked the other day and it’s quite expensive. I had his set up in my F3 and tbh it did work okay but his presentation annoys me. I watched one where he starts going on about how you can’t adjust Ducati levers because they are pegged, when the whole handlebars are able to spin, I just find him a little over theatrical
His suspension damper (mass damper) videos are kinda interesting, in that I think it’s bollox…. My question has been if they really work… why aren’t they on every bike in BSB and WSBK.. they are a couple of hundred quid at the end of the day
