I had the software update completed 2 weeks ago. Suspension lowering doesn’t appear to do anything and Ducati Connect is still just as poor. Can opt to stay live for 20 mins when switched off…if only it would connect.!
try resetting the factory settings, a friend was given the update, and he had to do it for it to work, a bit like computer programs, I do notice it, especially the suspension
Had my bike updated recently, checked it before I left the dealer. Grips and other features seemed fine but suspension did not work. The dealer re loaded the update and all fine now. Give it a go may be the solution?
Bike updated with new software today, took an hour, best bit is that the heated grips are easy to use now, display has also been updated, a few bits updated and graphics for the grips etc. I don't use the Ducati Connect but the volume control on the joystick could be useful, will have to play with that. Suspension works as they said it would, only drops it a little bit (IMO) when activated and over 60-70kmph it cancels and than has to be reset - 2 second push on the suspension button - so easy to use.
Agreed on mine it does go down a little and then reaches what it calls "minimum" seems to act only on the rear shock as you can see and feel it moving at the rear - no idea if it make any difference to the front.
Was supposed to pick my new V4S up tomorrow after the upgrade today but apparently the Ducati System keeps crashing and couldn’t complete the upload after 4 attempts Happened to me before, why dealers leave everything to the day before collection is beyond me, I paid for it last week...
You’ll have to go into each of the riding modes, the screen where you can change the DWC, ABS, DTC etc settings and when you do, there’ll be an option that says ‘Default’ select that and it puts that mode back to the settings as it left the factory. Re your previous post about ‘Urban’ being greyed out, it is. Urban is in light grey font, Touring in white font, Sport in red font and Enduro in amber font, those are the normal colours.
Finally got round to having mine updated today. The bike is improved noticeably. Smoother at low revs, q/s seems better, pick up is better on the throttle and its marginally less thirsty. Previously it would very very rarely read 40mpg, it did it within a few miles on the way home and stayed there. The lowered suspension button is useful. Great update to the bike. I also had the PP bars fitted at the same time and i do prefer the slightly less wide bars.
