Hello and welcome! Have you found where to put the tax disc? If so keep it to yourself, there's plenty on here want to know!
like you I am new to biking (passed my test a couple of weeks ago) I ignored all the Internet advice and bought a 17 year old 600SS, I absolutely love it, has taken some miles to get used to it, but what it has is oodles of charm and character, however as I am 48 the riding position is not ideal, so an ST is definitely on my list for a future bike, and they are cracking value for money.
Thought about a 748 but couldn't get along with the riding position so opted for the ST2 and it's over 40's compatible riding position. I'm still grinning Oh and on the swing arm Archer
