Hi Can anyone recommend a paddock stand for a V2? my abba lift wont fit without taking the fairing off each time which i dont want to keep doing cheers Trev
Front and rear stands can be obtained directly from F G Gubellini in Italy, who make them for Ducati. It's cheaper to buy direct, but take care to check the import VAT, customs Duty and Carrier charge first if possible. The Gee Tech stands look good and many people prefer them, but it can be difficult to contact the company to place an order, and there appears to be a waiting list. Harris stands are good but not cheap. Pierobon are a nice piece of kit, but are very expensive. For the rear stand just check you buy the correct pin size for your bike, although some stands have interchangeable pins. It also depends which type of front stand you want, under fork or under head-stock. There are also centre stands, and options which allow movement of the bike while supported on a stand.
