950 V2s Exhaust Options

  1. Hey folks,

Hyper 950 SP owner here strongly considering a V2S given the desire for a more roadtrip worthy machine. Aware that, and correct me if I am wrong, largely they are the same engines, so my experience in terms of power and torque etc, save extra 20kgs on the Multi should be not far off one another.

I’m ready for a more ‘sensisble’ bike in the V2S but actually don’t want a dull experience from a sound point of view. Currently have a full Termi system on my Hyper.

Question is, what exhaust (and full systems) options exist. Are all the 950 kits compatible with the V2?

    Many thanks,
    Stu

  2. Something I said? :(

  3. I don't think the 950 systems are compatible with the new V2s ? I've had V2s travel just over a month now and I'll admit it's a bit 'sewing machine' at low revs but come a bit more alive once you wind it on a bit. I'm of the opinion that 'loud' exhausts are going to clamped down on by the authorities over the coming years so I'm leaving mine as stock. Plus, I don't like disturbing the neighbours at 6am by starting a very loud bike up!!

  4. I have recently bought a 950.

initially I bought an Akrapovic fir stupid money. It was lovely but not really different in sound at all to the standard.

so I sold it at a loss and have just ordered a GPR which is a lot cheaper but from the videos sounds a bit beefier…..

  5. Hmm they don’t seem to list the v2 on their site with any pipes available….

  6. Thanks folks, seems a mystery on backwards compatibility. Given the marginal ‘tweaks’ between the 950 and V2 I’m surprised there aren’t any details from the exhaust manufacturers.

Thanks for the GPR review - sounds good

  7. sounds like we need to make the most of the next few years
