My left exhaust can on my 97 900SS was badly scratched so in my wisdom I decided to sand it down to remove all of the marks but I can’t decide what the finish should be. Are they painted? It sort of seems that way when rubbing them down but the finish looks more like just brushed and lacquered over? If painted, any idea where I can get the pain5 and if brushed how can I replicate the finish? Thanks for any suggestions!
I've got a couple of exhaust sleeves, if you wanted to replace/experiment. They may be from an IE, so may need to check dimensions.
