After some help please. Bike has developed an annoying/? worrying noise. Kind of a buzz/vibration. Unfortunately it won't let me attach a sound clip. Noise most noticeable 3.5k revs to 4.5 then other noises drown it out. After listening to recording fairly sure it is there at other times. Any ideas. I've looked for anything loose but can't see anything. Any know problems/places to look It's a 2020 model with 6k on the clock. Dealer can't take a look for over 3 weeks. Thank you
On my last ride on my 1260, the bike turned into a jackhammer, and was unrideable. 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th were extremely rough, and the noise the bike was making was unbearable. The dealer has it now, and is preparing for an engine and gearbox removal. Same age bike and mileage as yours.
I had a high pitched buzzing noise for a while on my 1260. I tracked it down eventually to the rear black mudguard extension on the FRONT wheel. It hadn't been fitted properly and was too close to the front wheel. Similar to you it was most noticeable accelerating through 3 to 5000RPM.
