If you bought some of these bs stamped plates and put them on your non road legal cans, is there anyway the fuzz can really argue weather they are infact legal or not thoughts?

Run straight through exhausts and you fall foul of construction and use regs, relatively minor offence. Try to pass your race cans off as BS approved with fake plates = criminal offence, potentially major trouble.
If the cans are too loud they can nick you for making too much noise - what's actually marked on the can becomes irelevant at that point... Will they nick you for making too much noise ? Depends on a lot of things... Easiest answer - don't ride like a twat making a load of noise, then they probably won't ever look at your exhaust anyway...
