For Sale Honda Cb500 Project 1973

The last of the bikes available from Marks collection is this 1973 Honda CB500 Project:



I know zero about these bikes but have taken a some advice from a couple of 'experts'.

Mark took it off the road to restore over 20yrs ago, started, then got into Monsters and just stopped.
It would appear he brought lots of new and used parts for it.
Unfortunately the newly built up wheels have suffered slightly with very minor pitting and everything is generally dusty etc from 20yrs of storage.

It has lots going for it like the exhausts that look new to me:


And best of all the Brand New, still in the Honda box tank with a full badge set:




One of the major bad bits is the original engine which is partly dismantled:





But there is a complete 550 engine to go with the bike.



I'll add a load more images of the spares that go with it in a minute.

I'm told it including the spares are worth @£2500 because of the tank etc.
It must be collected from Stockbridge which is North West of Winchester.

An offer of £2K would secure this project and all the parts to get them out of the way sooner rather than later.
