Bikesure Insurance

Discussion in 'Insurance - Sponsored by Ducati Insurance' started by garyhoos1, Jan 28, 2022.

  1. Has anyone any experience with this insurer just had the cheapest quote by quite a margin.

  2. The guy who bought my Monster was insured with them when he had a big accident - off work for 6 months big - and he said he was impressed with how they handled the claim. I'll be calling them for a quote on my new Multistrada soon

  3. Have been with them for a few years and have been very good with all the mods to both GS & hybrid 899. Don’t charge for amendments to policy either:upyeah:

  4. Thanks for the comments, at first I thought it was another MCE new policy done and a good saving.

  6. One of the few to offer a very (I think) reasonable multi bike offer in London.

  7. I’ve been insured with them for a few years. They are an off shoot of Adrian Flux which I think is owned by Admiral.

  8. Moved to them this year for my multi bike policy. Cheaper than my renewal quote. It seems to be Adrian Flux that have oversight and the policy is through Ducati insurance.

  9. So just tried Bikesure - useless or scammers - can't decide which! I have 3 bikes, one of which is SORN'd. So firstly, that means two policies. The quote for the SORN'd 916 SP is the same as an MTS1260s, which is the same as an 888 SP4. To have two bikes, MTS and 888, on a multibike policy the price is arrived at by adding the two separate prices together. No negotiation - that's the price. Wasted 2 hours of my life with this shambles of an outfit...! Grrr...

  10. Sorry to hear, this is of great interest, as have been with them for many years, and even came to them via their Classic Car business as mentioned above, and both have been very good to me. I know companies can change in a heartbeat so will post back next time I renew, a mystery atm..

  11. Just been told on the phone that Biksure is still under the Adrian Flux "umbrella" as wondered if they had splintered away and hence a different experience Kev. You only have to look at the list below to see that they are a substantial organisation. I can only think your requirements were unusual for the broker they approached, or some confusion occurred.

I would try again via Adrian Flux Motorcycles (lowest link) and see if you get a better experience.

  12. Who knows... I have been with LV for years with 3 bikes and always simple, clear, and sensibly priced. They sold their M/C insurance book to Devitts and now I have to look elsewhere as Devitts don't even pick up the phone let alone answer emails. Bikesure are almost double nearly every other and with them my 916 costs as much on SORN as it does to ride... go figure. I am collecting quotes but at roughly 80 mins a call is is a soul destroying process...

  13. it's your aftershave :)

  15. I think I wasted a day sorting out insurance. What is so frustrating is there is absolutely no consistency either from the same insurer or between different insurers. I figure they're using random number generators... The best by far for me was Performance Direct for a market value policies, one for each bike. However, I am now with Footman James as they will now cover the MTS1260S for a sensible rate with a Flex Policy.

  16. Excellent, Gash & Tits:upyeah:The next time i order up fish & chips i'll shout out loud, make sure that fish has tits on it and see what response i receive from all and sundry.

  17. I've just received my renewal invitation from Bikesure - the premium has reduced by 26% from last year.

  18. I've been with Ducati insurance for 2 years now and so far am happy with them. I learn't that the Ducati Insurance is provided by you guessed it Adrian Flux. Changed my car insurance to Adrian Flux which was only slightly cheaper than my More Than renewal. I tried to get courier insurance with BikeSure but their quote was £1000 TPFT and so am stuck with MCE for another year. Customer relations with MCE stinks and I am desperate to leave them and almost paid the £1000 with BikeSure. The people at Adrian Flux are so much more pleasant to deal with IMO.

  19. I've been with these guys for over a decade. Occassionally I've moved a bike or car to another provider when that's been cheaper but I've often come back the next year because they resumed being competive.

The brokers often specialise in a particular profile of vehicle or value and if your two bikes don't match then they can't get a competitive quote out of the same broker. This may be why they just add 2 prices together for KevB. When my 13" Multi was new it couldn't co-habit on my 250cc strokers policy as the difference in capacity and value was to much.
