Hi I’ve just bought a 2012 1200S, but the fitted engine bars are a bit tatty and I want to remove them. On each side, 2 of the bolts are just fitted to the frame, but 1 of the bolts goes through the engine. Would this bolt be a longer than standard bolt to allow for the frame? If so, does anyone know the part number for the original engine bolt? Thanks
The engine bar bolt is internally threaded to accept the bolts that secure the bars. The OE bolt is just a threaded through stud which should be readily available from your local dealer's parts department. Andy
