Well not down but he has gone to the dark side.......................... Matt46 has chopped his 1098 in for a Kawasaki Z1000 Special Edition as below: He just wasn't getting on with the 1098. He said a couple of times that he didn't feel right in corners and plus his better half wasn't comfortable on the back. And Kawasaki did him a deal, so it made sense to chop it in for something more suitable. And he's saved a few bob on insurance! Question is........do I still let him come out on rideouts?
Ahh that's an awesome bike Scrap those heavy cans thou. Well done Matt46 and El T, of course you let him come with on rideouts. Don't be such a child
I would have thought the Darth Vader look is quite a bit out of date now........ ..........I really don't like the look of that........give me the old Z900 look any day of the week......or even the Z1300.
What's with all the angles on it - And what sort of cretin would design a paintjob like that - Fugly in my book...
Hmm, not my idea of a pretty bike. Those exhausts are hideous (IMO), but I'm sure the engine is as smooth as a smooth thing, but I'd let him join you El T, if only so he can get jealous of all the envious looks you get for your bike!
He's got some Akro GP pipes on it I understand plus new levers and a rad guard. that is a reason why I shouldn't allow him to ride with me  There is most definitely that side to the argument
Not keen, I have to say. Losing all the plastic and those hideous cans and the bike would be a good 30 kilos lighter.
lose the cans and its 12.5kgs lighter heres mine the perfect stable mate for my 900ss , tell matt46 to get on the zedoc forum , were a friendly bunch
I bet they're a beast to ride though aren't they? Personally don't think they look that bad, a little bit of elitist ribbing going on I feel
