It better had, there's a wave of discontent coming in our country, as the strikes and inflation protests get more and more widespread. If the crude oil price is down, the price at the pump must follow and soon. People will start to take things into their own hands if things don't start being resolved methinks.
A bit like the fuel demonstrations in 2000, for 5 minutes we'd control them we let it slip away again.
Nah, average salary in the UK currently £25K. Nett take home is £1700. Mortgage/ Rent £450, Food £400, Council tax £90, Gas & electricity £450 (projected) leaves £69 per week. less inflation at likely 13% There will be more than a little trouble for 5mins this time
Yes. and I expect a good many mortgages and rent are higher than £450 too... Listening to James Cleverly mumbling platitudes, saying that its tax cuts to boost the economy which are the most important, and that resolving this can wait was a disgrace (Today program R4). People will begin to pay the higher rate on their direct debits in two weeks. Cleverly -ironically named imo- was a loud voice stating that Doris should stay on as a caretaker PM for a few months to ensure the right new leader takes over. Now Doris says he can't act as he won't be PM much longer. All of this leadership crapola should have been concluded in four weeks or less. Its really no wonder the country is in such a mess, these twunts could n't run a bath much less an effective government.
Welcome to the forum Cerveja Sagres, Sumol, SG Gigante, Febras de Porco, Papsecos, Maciera, ..... some of the things I remember when working in Moncarapacho, just before Portugal joined the Euro. Had a Casal 125 Cross exactly like this one
