Has anyone used this balancing kit for there rear wheel on a Multistrada DVT? https://abbastands.co.uk/product-detail.asp?pid=24 They sent me this diagram which shows the max diameter as 60mm but I make it more like near 70mm.
I use these, they work well for balancing tyres of my 1260 Multistrada. Are you measuring the full outer diameter of the wheel cone, doesn't need full engagement to work and hold the wheel effectively for the purpose of balancing. IIRC the ones I have don't match the angle of the cone anyway, just engage with the inner part of it and thus locate the wheel securely in the static balancer.
I didn’t explain it very well. When I measure the centre of the wheel it’s about 70mm, it’s still on the bike and I’ve never had it off before so it’s just a rough measurement. The diagram abba sent me shows the cones they supply to be max 60mm. Do you know the diameter of your cones?
