Yes. Fury knows nothing else. He’s only 34ish?? But his mental fragility is well documented. If he can keep his head right, then definitely. He’ll regard one pop at Usyk as a cakewalk compared to his Wilder trilogy.
What now for AJ? A domestic slug fest with Joyce, Dubois, Whyte et al? Or a cosy studio seat doing punditry and shit tons of those I’m a celebrity this that and the fukken other? I know what I’d rather do And it’s not getting my head punched in. I’m far too nice for that….
I expect his immediate future depends on how much money he has saved and invested well. He wouldn't be the first boxer to get knocked off the top rung only to realise he hasn't got a whole lot of readies. Some TV is inevitable, how much will be down to whether he can create/ project a personality the public likes to see & hear.
I didn’t watch it but I’ve just watched the usman edwards fight at that there ufc Absolute belter if you get a chance to see it
Money can’t be a motivator. He’s got to be a millionaire several times over. But he’s lost 3 of his last 5 fights. The big time has slipped away I reckon. He’s tv gold, a press darling. He can talk and turn on the charm. He’s a big handsome fucker. He ticks all the boxes. Especially the BBC’s
Hmm Mike Tyson thought he had a few quid too... There's a great deal of competition to be a media personality these days AJ certainly has the entry qualifications and ten years ago ithe would probably have found it easy. But it will take a lot more than a couple of ring side pundit shows to make it now. Especially as his losses were bigger events than his wins. He should find a product to use him in TV ads which will get him on the screen all the time. Then maybe...
He will want to end his career on a high and will fight again to end his recent run of losses. His post pro boxing career whatever it turns out to be will need it as much as his pride and ego Such a shame. I was growing fond of him
I started to wonder about AJ when he lost to Ruiz. Then he won the rematch and that was OK. But I began to doubt him again when he didn't seem able to sign a fight with Fury -because I suspect he expected to lose.
Self explanatory "This morning Fury, 34, confirmed he is open to stepping back into the ring to win back his heavyweight titles. He said: "I've just seen Joshua lose for the second time to Usyk - out of his depth. However, England has been relieved of its belts. Yet again, as usual. There is a remedy and a solution that I can suggest. If you want those belts back then send in the Gypsy barbarian of England. Come on! "Send me in. I will relieve the Ukrainian dosser of his belts like I did the last Ukrainian dosser. But its not gonna be cheap. If you want the best you've got to pay, it's gonna be very expensive. So get your f***ing chequebook out and I will relieve that Ukrainian dosser."
I don’t think Fury’s cut out for the tv stuff, about as subtle as an air raid. I like him though, nutter.
I like him too. On his Insta post he sounded like he might have had a few beers when he said he could easily have fought both the bleeping bleepers at the same time. A sad weekend for him though, one of his cousins was stabbed to death this weekend in Manchester.
Yeah, I thought he sounded a bit pissed as well. Loads of empty bottles on the table. Some pad mind you Just read about his cousin. Some head cases around….
Funny how some pikeys are ok and not others. Would you all like him if him and his clan pitched up in the field opposite AJ always seems a great role model to me. Shame he can’t come thru
youd have to have big sac to do that or maybe the culprits are the same puppet masters that are suspected to have brought wilder fury 3 to the masses
The AJ you perceive is fake. He’s a carefully preened and packaged brand. A cash cow. Fury on the other hand, what you see is what you get, warts and all. A lot of people like that. Including me.
AJ is an arrogant , narcissistic, disrespectful fake with very questionable comments made previously . He couldn’t even stand still for the national anthem ffs . Somebody has been blowing smoke up his ass for a long time telling him how good he is and he’s fallen for it. Throwing the belts out of the ring and then having a strop with as many people as he could on his way out to the dressing room. He is a total embarrassment to himself , his “country “ and to boxing. Only bad thing is he didn’t hit the canvas during the bout .
Its also earnt him £30+ million. TBF I doubt there is anyone here who would refuse smoke up. on or around their ass for that kind of money!
