For sale a 2005 S2R 800 with 11,300 miles located in York, UK. Away from my usual 1000DS work this was a winter project of mine - to refurb and finish with something just slightly unique but still the S2R look. The Motor: Serviced and repainted with valves lapped in, clearances set, cams dialed-in to spec, throttles synced, air screws set giving at Idle 13.5 AFR, ECU slightly remapped to suit the system, numerous stainless steel fasteners on cases and covers. Motor new parts: Timing belts, clutch friction plates, valve stem seals, gaskets & O-rings, NGK plugs, HT leads, Shell Advance Ultra oil & filter, air filter, outer fuel lines & inner fuel filter, oil cooler hoses, SS bolts. The Bike: Totally stripped and cleaned up. Tank and panels reworked with 3M’s new 2080 vinyl wrap in ‘Carbon’ & ‘Brushed Alloy’ Upgrade to fully adjustable forks and with like new rear shock, seat recovered, LED head light & indicators, repainted wheels. The fuel tank dried, cleaned & Caswell sealer lined. Stronger hybrid side stand. Electrics/wiring loom cleaned and tidied. Bike New Parts: Front wheel bearings, head bearings, chain & sprockets, Pirelli Diablo Corse tyres, clutch master cylinder kit, throttle cable, handle bars & grips, fork seals & oil, bar end mirrors, headlight, indicators, brake & clutch fluid, bar levers, seat cover, numerous fasteners & decals.
