  5. I was disappointed with Ducati Insurance this year. Just got a quote yesterday for my 848 and it was £475. Done a comparison on the 'Bike Insurer' and Devil Bikes (MCE) came up at £172, protected, legal cover and ZERO excess.
It was £162 through MCE themselves with £500 excess, protected, legal, clothing cover, personal injury and breakdown cover.

I can understand a small difference but over £300 more is having a laugh.

I cannot imagine what a £25k Panigale would cost and I'm 53, zero claims, zero points. Maximum ncb !

  6. Ducati insurance was never the cheapest but to many they were most understanding.
They were the only one's offering Desmosedici cover for quite some time after it's release date with no stupid strings attached. They do not care about any mods to the bike, if they need to they will say they only pay for original replacement part. Saying that repair valuation is done on Ducati parts, then it becomes your bugget for repairs so a good mechanic will listen to you and order what you want as all in all I think it will mostly balance out.

  7. Mce insurance were the best for my 1199s

  8. ducati insurance £1085 with 750 excess 9yrs no claims no convictions 53yrs old licence 30+ yrs plus i dont think so somehow

  9. My 1199 (and my other Ducatis inc my Desmosedici) are with Ducati Insurance on a Bike Fleet policy. They did insist on some security though.

  10. Mce will insure for you
