still getting used to my 950 but really can feel the flatspot around 4500 or so, plus some rough running lower down - where im sitting a lot of time in London traffic. Has anyone used and got good experiences with the upmap on standard pipes? Did it make any difference? All of the reviews/posts are on earlier bikes and quite some time ago now, nothing seems at all recent. I have plans to go with the scproject slips but want to do the 600 miles run in and first service though really so i dont get into dealer issues. Woud like the bike to run better in the interim! It seems that even the boosterplug isnt available for the 2022 Euro5 bikes yet. I used a fuelling dongle on my old KTM 690 which made a big difference for little cost.
Upmap on a standard exhaust will do nothing positive. Got a full Termignoni on a 2022 Monster (937cc) so the same engine and the Upmap makes it as sweet as a nut. Andy
OK after fitting my SC Project cans I decided to take the plunge and install the upmap - really impressed with how much smoother the bike runs now. Disconnected the O2 sensors as suggested and really happy, was worth it even for fixing the constant popping on the decel and liftoff. Was fun for a while but got old really quickly on the commute!
