Ozz, funny enough if I put back to std the cans are the only thing I wouldnt sell as the CJS mapped ECU is specific to engine and cans...but if I dont get much interest then all the Ohlins will be up as well as the carbon seat, Sigma slipper etc. theres 2k in that lott on fleabay so think I'm asking cheap money for the bike but, I'm impatient and lazy and want to move on before I change my mind AGAIN, eh Andy ;-)

    And I'd need a bike for Snetterton in 3 weeks...

  7. but you have been to a dealer and looked to do a deal and been given an offer that i guess didnt work.

    Is it the case with a dealer that accessories dont or didnt add to the value of the bike but merely improved the chance of selling it.

  9. They are working it up, if its good enough I'll do a deal that way for ease and convenience. Its cost me £17 to list so not going to kill me to withdraw. Figured there may be a few sat on the sofa surfing today now we are having a break before the sun comes back :)

    And if time was on my side, I'd strip to std with cans and ask just over 7k with the cans which would be the 'draw' over other std bikes at similir or tad more asking price. Then list all the ohlins, sigma, carbon separately

    And I may have far less power at Snett, so take it easy on those straights and I promise to take it easy on you in the corners ;-)

  11. Well I for one think that is a bloody cheap bike for a 2010 evo with all of that kit.

    Mine was a 2008 non evo with nearly 10k miles and most dealers I looked at were not interested in the extras and bid basically a 'reasonable' (Not great) standard bike price plus a couple of hundred for the extras ( Which at list price was £5k, not that I paid that ) This was around the £6k to £6.5 mark.

    Why I changed was the brilliant price that I got of nearly £8k for the bike as it was PLUS £1k off the price of my new bike then £600 for the bits that I did not leave on the bike so on paper over £9500 for a 2008 bike.

    I know that the dealer had near enough £1k off the bike anyway but you never normally get a discount AND a top price for the part exchange, it is usually either or which made this too good to turn down.

    I know form past selling that the only way usually to get the best price is to strip the parts off and sell them privately and I have always sold every quality part that I have had with a few days of listing them, usually much quicker which is what I would have done if this offer had not come along.

    Anyone that knows the price of the kit on your bike will see that once you take into consideration the Ohlins and other bits than the actual bike itself is very cheap. Its all about finding the right buyer though so good look, hope it sells.

  12. Not sure the cans will be suitable but need to check. Certainly with the Termi slip ons there are different model numbers for the Evo and Evo Corse. Not sure what the difference is....
     
  13. Think the evo had the sq ones, corse slash ones, as think they are same fitting etc
     
  14. ECU is the only difference - DTC & DQS on the Corse
     
  15. Its blooming confusing. I have looked at most pipe manufacturers now and none of them list pipes for the 2013 Corse SE....
     
  16. So if I was just putting on end cans with no air filter or ecu then there should be no problems...?
     
  17. Why wouldn't you want the air filter? and get your ECU remapped:biggrin:
