Petrol Tank Wanted For ‘93 900ss

  1. Am starting restoration of carby 900SS I bought in ‘93, but has sat for 20 years untouched. Petrol tank has blistered at front lower seams, needs a new or refurbished one. Am in UK West Midlands. Maybe some metal genius could repair my tank?

  2. I had mine cleaned filled and re sprayed at Ducati Mcr. When that failed a bought a repaired one from Pro Twins
    The repair was a new piece of steel braised in place. I treated the internal to a good coat of Por 15 tank sealer, new paint and transfers and it’s as good as new.

  3. Thanks, I’ll maybe take the tank up to Ducati Mcr and see if they can do anything with it
