848 Evo Hi folks been getting a flat spot/hesitation today as the revs go through 3-4000 rpm in second gear, fine below 3k and clears above 4k then rides normally. Never had it happen before, any ideas? Thanks
Full system and the valve/motor has been removed, full system was fitted from new by main dealer and I have the original parts.
Slip-ons, valve/motor removed, DP ECU and i always had the flat spot on my SF848....just learned to live with it. But it does not answer your query...sorry I am ultimately going to have a mapping done to make it spot on.
Yeah I never had this issue before yesterday, spoke to my normal mechanic and he suggested getting it on a dyno and see what it shows, he recommended I speak to BSD performance. Gave them a call and a dyno run is £55 + vat and a full dyno and custom map is £350, they said they have seen this issue on other Ducatis and often its a sensor on its way out and they stock several. Probably going to take it there in the next few weeks and have it sorted and a custom map set up on the dyno
yep they are supposed to be top notch, came across very well on the phone very friendly and happy to give advice. First impressions go along way with me...
I had similar on my 848. It turned out to be a dodgy sidestand switch. I fitted a switch eliminator and the problem disappeared.
