  2. nice
but 160kg dry or wet ???

  3. Dry...4sure;)

  4. With std cans and a cat?! Before you look at standard tank...think Kope's is safe ;-)

    Scheme looks ok tho

  5. I note ducati claim 164kg as stock
have you just done some mods and measured the weight of the modded parts and deducted the difference from the stock overall weight or measured the bike on scales

  6. Just measured the weight of modded parts like rims, carbon ec...

  7. you need to get the bike on scales really as manufacturer weights are historically optimistic lol

ive managed to get my 999 down to 186kg wet with half tank of fuel

  8. actually its either 186 or 178. I cant remember now. its one of the two

lots of carbon. bst wheels etc and loads more. [IMG]

  9. Ref the Panigale - The stickers must weight a lb or 2 lol

    (Just jealous really!)

  10. I wish mine was within 20hp of it lol

  11. Generally speaking, some people ( not the OP ) spend a fortune putting carbon fibre, light weight wheels etc on they're bike in the pursuit of weight reduction then put a fat rider on it which seems a bit counter productive, probably be cheaper to have liposuction! lol!. Great looking bike btw.

  12. Some people really have no idea...a fat rider is moving mass, a bike isn't

  13. Which means more power to get that mass moving and more inertia to resist it

    I'm splitting hairs, nice bike

  14. True, but overall weight of bike + rider has a bearing on performance and handling, when did you last see a fat Motogp rider and besides I was just having a joke!

  15. my reciprocating mass saving on my wheels means that I can weight upto 42 stone for comparable performance lol ;)

its more about >it< being the best it can be for me lol....just something to spend my pennies on....

  16. Panigale is one awesome piece of kit. Got my modded Superlight down to 165kg with a full 19 litre tank. When the bike has no chance of making 205PS every bit of weight saving helps.

  17. Did you use a Go-Pro for the vid??? Practice those dance moves dude :upyeah:

  18. Go-Pro and a JVC-CAM...

  19. Nice bike dude, wish i had one

  20. hi there .. great vid, i shared it on FB ! :)

    now to the weight..

knowing mine lost about all it can loose ( full-full-full carbon /magnesium/titanium) apart from ditching the abs pump-unit and a selfsupporting carbon rear frame, i'm not sure i would hit 160kgs dry...
i had mine measured with 3/4 tank at 183kg ( 52% - 48%) which was more than i anticipated frankly.
and how do you measure you bike dry? did you drain it from all oils, water and fuel? that is quit a job..

could be interesting to wheigh her in the same conditions ( 3/4 tank)

for me to get to 160 dry would like loose 23kg of which 13 was fuel.. that is another 10 in oils ( engine + gearbox) and cooling water..

but you got me going enough to see how we can find out what it really weighs.. :)

on the 205 ps: what did you have done to her.. and would that be crank or wheel? SAE or DIN measurement?

    btw great dance moves :)
