  1. What a start for Ducati! Rain soaked win yesterday, alas sky box only recorded the first half lap of superpole race on Eurosport but another win, followed with a triple in the last.

4 of top 5 on Ducatis in race 3… Toprak out of sorts, Rea off to his camper for a good lubing by Toseland, Lowes out of two races - normal service is resumed.

  2. Not entertaining though is it
Bats just wins by miles is boring
When I have to pay to watch it I'm not happy
Bit like ducatis are ferrari racing in their own class against group b Skodas

  3. Sorry bud, that’s just not the way I see it.
It took 11 years and three different Superbike designs including changing from twin to four to get the title again. I’d hardly call that Ducati racing their own series.
Plus last years racing was some of the best fairing bashing and handlebar to handlebar racing you’ll see anywhere in the world, including GP’s. had a fair bit of controversy, a bit of needle and some off hand remarks from riders about their competitors.
I think that WSBK has exploded from a rather dull period of Kawasaki dominance into a race of truly three to five guys that could win any race.
Sure, the wee man romped away this weekend thanks to his size but that won’t be the same all year, I’m looking forward to some more fairing bashing and controversy.
Just my view tho. Happy to hear other thoughts.
You can’t blame Ducati for putting together an amazing bike/package. It comes in cycles, now it’s Ducati’s turn.

  4. Philip Island has always been a Ducati track however there's no taking away from AB's achievements to win all 3 races.
Racing for mid spots was worth the watch in the final race.

  5. I think it would be boring if they only showed AB riding around out front on his own, but the race for 4th in the third race was pretty good imho. Shame to loose Toprak and maybe saving his tyres for the closing stages.

  6. i thought it was great viewing this weekend. loads of battles and decent riding from the pack in 4th. some of the reason the other 3 were so far away is down to them not being stuck in the mele of battles so they just cleared off.

  7. I got the three race highlights last night and the boy smoked the competition in the wet & dry, the rest will need to raise their game this season or else.

  8. ducati are now doing well in supersport

  9. I didn’t see any of the other races. Worth a watch?

  10. Yeah, they have done well with the rules, considering that Panigale is actually de-tuned from the road bike! in some gears it's had 40% torque taken away by all accounts. It was interesting as it can pass easily in a slipstream but the R6 drafted it also on the straight, so it's bang on by the looks of it.

  11. It looked to me like even in the slip stream the 600’s were struggling to get up on the ducatis

personal opinion, im not sure why they’ve messed around with a perfectly good class

  12. I was told that the SuperSport Panigale V2 is restricted to 80% throttle in competition. Andy
