Hi Guys After lunching a stone through my original tail light I have bought an integrated unit and tried fitting it this evening. Nice looking item but upon connection the brake light comes on briefly but then goes out and a ‘Stop Light’ warning comes up on the dash. In addition the indicators do not work with or without the supplied resistor. However that said if you plug in the original indicators then the integrated items work perfectly too without the resistors. if anyone has a fix for the above two issues I would be very grateful. I am thinking this must be an LED load to ECU compatibility issue but sadly I am no sparky but can buy parts and make connections if pointed in the right direction Thanks in advance Moose
Problem is sorted ! The unit requires additional resistors to make this work on my 2015 1299s On my bike the indicators require 150ohm resistors and the brake light needs a 1.2kohm resistor I bought some 20mm long ceramic items tucked them under the seat and all is good.
