Got my MS yesterday, l1st impressions are WOW ! Not happy with the number plate, fitting, looks like it's going to fall off and take the rear light with it . I already have a small plate to fit, but what is the better looking tail tidy of choice pls
Look at the Evo tech one. Looks decent and cheap enough. Although you need to get indicators. Ducati performance one is nice but expensive. ( mines in being fitted now. So can post a picture in a few days )
Can someone post a pic of theirs or a link, I think I need indicators, the whole thing looks like its off a different bike at the moment
Just be aware that the OE tail, although not what you'd call pretty is quite effective. I tried a Rizoma and it looks 100% better than stock, but allowed my back/ seat/ Mrs to get covered in crap whenever it rained. I've gone back to stock but trimmed to fit a smaller number plate and re-positioned the indicators so most of the stalks are inside the tail tidy rather than sticking out - nice compromise...
Fitted the Evotech one this weekend, and I have to say seriously it is superb. Fits perfectly, and looks exactly how I wanted it to. For £100 it is excellent value when you see how nicely made it is.
well, after seeing one mounted onto the MTS-PP at the Laguna Seca MotoGP recently (see pics attached), placed an order with R+G Racing for a full tail tidy kit. my tail tidy will be installed with a CustomLED rear light in the near future.
Installed the R+G Racing Tail Tidy / Indicators and a CustomLED rear light with a 3mm custom carbon license plate backing plate and proper alloy spacers to mount the rear light and license plate once and for all properly and secure. Mighty impressed and no more wobbles and shakes, sits very solid now similar to the pics in my earlier post #16....
