That's like the mount on mine. Not sure who made it, I would assume Ohlins? Mine came with it, maybe try an Ohlins dealer. When I bought some Ohlins forks, Harris Performance had the (larger) Ohlins bottom yokes in stock so maybe you could get lucky with a damper mount though I'm not sure Harris are still around?
To add, Harris appear to still be around and list a mount for 748/916/996/998 for £40 on their website though it is a 'Harris' mount rather than the OEM Ohlins and a little different, I assume it fits/works though. https://www.harris-performance.com/product/damper-fitting-kit-ducati/
Maybe there were variations? but then mine wasn't fitted to the bike when it was made, I bought the damper with mount aftermarket and so assumed it was original but don't know for sure. Fits and works fine though.
I certainly wouldn’t sweat over a mount. Probably whatever they had lying around at the time got fitted.
I know I'm bumping an old thread here, but seeing that it ranks pretty high when searching for info on Ohlins steering dampers and mounts for 748-998 bikes, I thought I'd share some info here based on my research and hope it helps someone out. A majority of the 748-998 bikes were't fitted with an Ohlins damper from the factory, but for those that were, it was a Ducati part that was used for the mount. Ducati PNs 80820161A & 80820162A are a couple. This was a cast aluminum mount, more rounded, and with one pinch screw. This was the one the factory used at least up through the 2011, it's the same part number on the 1098R and even the 1198R. Upgrade kits were available, either through Ducati Performance or through Ohlins (SD031). Those kits came with a billet damper mount that is more squared and has two pinch screws. Most of the aftermarket mounts (e.g. Ducabike, CNC Racing, etc) also look about identical. These were made by Ohlins and other aftermarket companies. Attaching some related screenshots.
great intel thanks funny though that the 14081 damper as per the photo has a 2 pinch screw mount whereas the corresponding mount 14082 is a 1 pinch screw mount
