Hi All Time to service the M1200, Been looking on you tube for a video to change the plugs. But all I can find is bike owners more interested in hearing their own voices, than actually showing how to do the job. Anyone know of a good video or guide??????? Also changing the air filter (pipercross) and fuel level sensor (GRRRR) removing the Evap cannister while the tank is off. I have the 100 ohm link for the valve. I will also be running the cables for new led running / riding lights.
Thanks, I winged it!!!!! once the tank is off the vertical top plug is easily accessible. And you just need to drop the radiator out of the way to access the horizontal top plug. (don't disconnect the hoses). You will need to remove the front mudguard for a bit of extra room to get the rad clear. The plug caps are really tight to come out of the heads, I used a bit of cord around the cap body to get enough purchase. sprayed these with silicon before putting back, torqued the plugs at 10Nm. The filter is a piece of piss, 3 screws.
